Minutes of the December 2025 Meeting
President's Message
Big turnout for the Holiday party. Lots of stealing in the Stealing Santa gift exchange. One of the better ones I have attended. Thank you to all who brought great gifts and joined in the fun.
At the January meeting the membership will be voting on two measures approved by the board.
1. First, is to rename the People’s Choice award for the top exhibitor at our show to the David Boitnott People's Choice Exhibit Award.
2. Second, is to amend and update our bylaws. This started when I explored how to make the YN Coordinator position a club officer vs. an appointed position. Brian plays a big role in growing the next crop of collectors and deserves to be a full voting member of the team. But as I read the bylaws there were some confusing words, some outdated information, and general updates that were needed. The revised bylaws are found later in the newsletter.
Finally, dues are due for 2026 and beyond beginning at the January meeting. Please bring your $7.00 (exact change appreciated) with you (or $3 for YNs and $10 for families) and check in with our treasurer, Steve.
