President's Message
December brings our holiday party. We are back at the Golden Corral near the intersection of NC54 and NC55 as the re-build there is complete. Details on the holiday dinner and Secret Santa gift exchange are elsewhere in the newsletter. There is NO MEETING this month, see you in January.
Officers and one new Board member (Don F) will be sworn in at the holiday party.
At the January meeting the membership will be voting on two measures approved by the board. First, is to rename the People’s Choice award for the top exhibitor at our show to the David Boitnott People's Choice Exhibit Award. Second, is to amend our bylaws to make the YN Coordinator position a club officer vs. an appointed position. Brian plays a big role in growing the next crop of collectors and deserves to be a full voting member of the team.
Revised bylaws will be presented and voted on at the January meeting.
Finally, dues are due for 2026 and beyond beginning at the January meeting. Please bring your $7.00 with you. I hope all of you have a happy and safe holiday season and I look forward to seeing you all at the party or the next meeting.
